Deleting Sales Receipts and Invoices


Deleting receipts is not enabled by default. We highly recommend performing returns and voids. However, if you require deletions, have the store owner contact support to request enabling deletions. It will only be enabled for the Owner role.

NOTE: this is not a process meant for daily use or performing returns or voids. Deleting a receipt that has a credit card processed on it will not refund the credit card – it will just leave you without a record of the sale. There is no paper trail for you to find a deleted sale after it has been deleted.

Once enabled, find the receipt in Daily Sales. Daily Sales can be found in the Reports tab or in the Sales screen.

Select the receipt to delete by placing a check in the box and pressing Delete. Confirm the delete and it is gone forever.
